Sponsored by Skidgies Bar, this outstanding Port Huron team won City and State Class "B" Championships in 1956 and 1957 and finished runner-up in 1958 at the Class "A" level. Sponsored by Cadillac Hotel, State Class "A" Championships were captured in 1959 and 1960, a rare accomplishment and record that still stands today. The 1960 team was led to the championship by star pitcher Gerald Armstrong with four of the team's five wins including a pair of victories on the final day of the tournament.
