Outstanding player, coach and civic leader. Led local YMCA basketball team to National Finals in Denver, Colorado in 1933. Coached St. Stephen High School football in 1923-1924. Served as board member and board president of Port Huron Township School District from 1949-1956. A leader in the construction of the Negaunee and Nakomis Schools in Port Huron Township.
